Walk with the Spirits | Historic Augusta, Inc.

Our annual cemetery tour is returning in person to Magnolia Cemetery!

Join us at Magnolia Cemetery to learn about Augusta’s past and some of its notable citizens. Patrons will be guided through the tour by “Spirits” dressed in period costumes who come to life as they tell their stories.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children K-12. Tours will be every 20 minutes. You may purchase tickets online HERE, however, please make a reservation by calling us at 706.724.0436.

Santana | Blessings & Miracle Tour

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist, Carlos Santana, has announced he will hit the road with his band across North America this fall for the Blessings and Miracles tour.

Santana will perform high energy, passion-filled songs from their fifty-year career, including fan favorites from Woodstock to Supernatural and beyond. The band (which also features Santana’s wife, Cindy Blackman Santana, on drums) will also debut incredible new songs from a much-anticipated upcoming full-length album entitled Blessings and Miracles.

Formed in 1989 in Nashville, TN the band consists of Gene Johnson (mandolin, tenor vocals), Jimmy Olander (lead guitar, acoustic guitar, banjo), Brian Prout (drums), Marty Roe (lead vocal), Dan Truman (keyboards), and Dana Williams (bass guitar, baritone vocals).

Diamond Rio’s most recent release I Made It, is their tenth studio album. The title track was co-written by the band’s lead guitarist Jimmy Olander and features 11 new songs. Produced by Olander and Mike Clute, I Made It is available on iTunes and www.diamondrio.com

Diamond Rio signed to Arista Records and in 1991 with the release of “Meet In The Middle” became the first country music group in history to reach No. 1 with a debut single. The band is also known for their hits “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” “One More Day,” “Beautiful Mess,” “Unbelievable,” “In A Week or Two,” and more. They released their first-ever autobiography, Beautiful Mess: The Story of Diamond Rio on Thomas Nelson in 2009.
