As the Department of Art and Design at Augusta University has expanded into the fields of Animation and Film, the Morris Eminent Scholar in Art; Prof. Cheryl Goldsleger has invited artists from those industries for a panel discussion. These artists will speak about some of the dynamic opportunities in their fields. Will show examples of their work and tell how they got started in their careers.
- Michael Swan, an alumna, who works in Atlanta as a costume designer for theater and film.
- Keith Frutiger, an artist who works on set design in Atlanta
- Perry Hull, an animator who works for Bento Box in Atlanta
- Zach Paulus, who also is an animator working for Bento Box in Atlanta
Presentations and panel discussion by Four practicing artists working outside academia in the Atlanta Film Industry, organized and sponsored by Prof. Cheryl Goldsleger, the Morris Eminent Scholar in Art with support from Prof. AB Osborne, Prof. Jennifer Onofrio and Prof. Brian Rust.
