CATS | Broadway Columbia County

Audiences and critics alike are rediscovering this beloved musical with breathtaking music, including one of the most treasured songs in musical theater—”Memory”. Winner of 7 Tony Awards® including BEST MUSICAL, CATS tells the story of one magical night when an extraordinary tribe of cats gathers for its annual ball to rejoice and decide which cat will be reborn. The original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber (The Phantom of the Opera, School of Rock, Sunset Boulevard), original scenic and costume design by John Napier (Les Misérables), all-new lighting design by Natasha Katz (Aladdin), all-new sound design by Mick Potter, new choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton) based on the original choreography by Gillian Lynne (Phantom) and direction by Trevor Nunn (Les Misérables) make this production a new CATS for a new generation!

This season of Broadway Columbia County is presented by the Gerald Jones Auto Group and will feature Anastasia, Rent, CATS and Fiddler on the Roof. Season subscriptions are available now, ranging from $225 – $340 for all 4 shows. Individual tickets will range from $50 – $85 and will become available closer to the showtime. STORYLAND THEATRE presents “Beauty and the Beast”, a musical (SCHOOL SHOWS)

Storyland Theatre presents our original musical, Beauty and the Beast, performed by adults, live at the Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre, Augusta University.

Reservations are required. Tuesday through Friday, March 29-April 1, 2022 at 9:30 AM, 10:45 AM & 12:15 PM daily. Special rates for Home Schools. Tickets $7.  Saturday Matinee is April 2 at 3 PM.  No reservations needed, $8 per person. Meet the actors after the show for autographs and photographs.

The Augusta Players Present: Elf the Musical

Based on the hit movie, Elf  is filled with non-stop smiles. Buddy, the would-be elf is unaware that he is actually a human. With some Santa magic, he embarks on a journey, only to discover his father is on the naughty list and his brother doesn’t believe in Santa! He’s determined to win them over and help us all remember the true meaning of Christmas.

This new holiday classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner elf.
