Lala Mulherin Streett & Lou Ann Zimmerman | Waxing Poetic Exhibition

Lala Mulherin Streett received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting from Ringling Art School. She has worked in the United States and abroad as a designer, professional illustrator and instructor. Lala is a Signature and lifetime member of the Georgia Watercolor Society and has served as an officer and board member of a variety of artists’ organizations. She has won numerous awards and shown extensively. Her work is part of collections in the United States and Europe.

Lou Ann Zimmerman retired as the owner of the Zimmerman Gallery in Augusta to concentrate on her painting.  She is a Life Member and Past President of the Georgia Watercolor Society, served on the Board of Trustees and faculty of the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art, is a Signature Member of the Whiskey Painters of America, and a past Director of the Board of Artists Row. Lou Ann’s work has been in exhibitions throughout U.S. and Japan.
