ArtsCity Festival | Mini Arts in the Heart 2021

ArtsCity Festival is a mini version of the popular Arts in the Heart Festival and will be held on September 17, 18, 19, 2021 in Augusta, GA. ArtsCity Festival will still offer great music on two stages, over 80 juried fine artists booths and ten international food booths with authentic cuisine by our local cultural groups. Booths will line the center of Broad Street, in the heart of the city, and be spaced to integrate social distancing. Social distancing awareness and masks are recommended for the festival. A Southern Beer Garden with both beer and wine, live painting by “Artzilla” artists, and a Westobou Sponsored Ferris Wheel are just a few of the 2021 festival experiences visitors can enjoy.

Fall Artists’ Market Opening | GHIA

Opening Reception: September 10, 2021 from 6 – 8pm

Exhibit Dates: September 10, 2021 – October 8, 2021

GHIA was unable to present the annual Spring Artists’ Market in 2020 and 2021 and had to cancel the annual Juried exhibition, A Sense of Place. So as not to have an empty gallery space, we are going to have a Fall Artists’ Market instead! Emerging and established Augusta-area artists will display and sell their work in the Main Gallery of the Institute. Works represented will include sculpture, photography, ceramics, paintings, drawings, jewelry, prints, and fine crafts with options to suit all tastes and budgets. A returning component of this year’s Market is the Artists’ Boutique, a gallery section featuring smaller works attractively priced at $100 or less—the perfect place to find an artful and affordable treasure.
