The Sweet Suite Bakeshop Summer Camp Series (Ages 7-14)

The Sweet Suite Bakeshop will once again host our Mini Camp Series!

This is Session 2/Week 2! 
Dates: June 17th – June 19th, 2019
Time: 9 AM – 1 PM, daily
Ages: 7-14

It’s Character Week! Our theme for the week will be “Magical Vacation.”

Day 1: Character Cookies- Students will learn to mix, roll, cut, and bake their own cookies to decorate.

Day 2: Our most anticipated day, students will create a 2-tier character cake!

Day 3: Mixing, measuring, decorating…each student will create their very own cupcakes to decorate and take home to share with family!

Camp cost: $160 per student (T-shirt included)
($80 retainer secures spot, with balance due on the first day of camp)

Lunch will be provided on the last day of camp. Students will need to bring their own lunch for the other days. Students will need to arrive in close toe shoes, hair pulled back, and clothing suitable for baking.

Very Vera Advanced Beginner Cooking Camp (Ages 11-14)

June 17-21, 2019 | Monday – Friday | 9 AM – 1 PM | The Cottage (VeryVera Augusta Location)

Advanced Beginner class is reserved for our first-time campers that are between the ages of 11 and 14. We will be nailing down the basics and whipping up so much more while making every recipe one to remember. Beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding at 1pm each day we will be in preparing 3+ new recipes, gaining hands-on kitchen experience, crafting new ways to decorate and package our fabulous treats, learning a bit more about some of the foods we eat from a natural state, and mastering manners and etiquette to use in an everyday setting.

The class will run Monday through Friday of the designated week, and on Friday children are encouraged to invite one guest. All week the students will be preparing for our Friday Banquet where our chefs prepare the food and serve their special guests using all their techniques they mastered throughout the week.

Please have your children wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals) and shirts with sleeves. All long hair will need to be pulled back with a ponytail holder or a rubber band.

Camp recipes could potentially contain any of the following allergens: Milk, Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, and Soybeans. We will do our best to accommodate your child’s dietary restriction, but there are cases where a camper may be given a separate activity to avoid potential contamination.

We cannot wait for our chefs to join us for big fun so sign up now for your DEPOSIT to ensure that your spot is saved! A balance due will be required 1 month prior to camp starting.

Day 1: In the “MIX” Students will learn the basics of measuring, mixing, and baking a cake from scratch using fresh ingredients, preparing for day #2

Day 2: Students will learn to decorate their cakes from day 1, to create a completed 2-tier mini cake.

Day 3: Students will learn to create French Macarons and Swiss Meringue Buttercream. We will work together as a team to prep and package macarons to present to family members at pickup time.

Camp cost: $160 per student (T-shirt included)
