Did someone say clay? This class will go over all the basic techniques needed for building in clay. What’s a slab? How do you make and connect coils? What is glaze? All your questions will be answered in this youth ceramics class. Students will create many pieces throughout the weeks and later glaze and fire them to perfection. Bring your creativity and get ready for some fun! *Students must bring a clean towel to each week’s session. All other supplies will be provided.

Wild Hare Pottery will begin a new session of classes on April 2nd!
These pottery classes are for folks with all levels of experience, including zero! Both handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques are taught by David Stuart who has taught for over 40 years. Classes are conducted in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Stoneware decorating, glazing and firing methods will be covered. The last class includes a Raku firing.
The day class meets from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the evening class meets from 7 PM to 9 PM, both lasting for 8 Tuesdays.
The cost is $120+$25 /25 lbs of clay. All levels of experience are welcome!
