This class is designed to teach students essential functions while using a digital SLR camera.
Instruction will include:
- Shutter Speeds
- Controlling Motion
- Exposure Control
- Menu items (such as resolution, file types, ISO, white balance)
Instruction will also include an introduction to downloading, sizing and e-mailing images, basic image editing using Photoshop and taking better pictures using great composition techniques. Bring your camera, manual, and a jump drive to the first class.

Beginner to intermediate students will learn the basics and some techniques for using acrylic paint. Each class will explore the technique of acrylic painting, a featured artist, practicing painting skills, and more.
While there is a prepared lesson for each class, children are free to paint and practice other styles to broaden their painting skills. All supplies will be provided. Any questions students have on painting will be answered.

Adventures in fun painting processes and application. Studio exploration of a variety of paint, brush styles, and non traditional tools will allow students to develop an understanding of the different qualities of the materials and how they can use them effectively. The Color Wheel will inspire mixing and curating color palettes to match the mood and subject of works created in class.

STACI SWIDER will help you create a stylized rendition of the object of your affections. Playful painting is the game here. Light hearted is it’s name.

This course will address the basics of setting-up and composing an appealing still life. New and continuing students will be guided in the painting process using the tools of composition, color, value, intensity, contrast, hard and soft edges, brushwork and careful observation. Through instruction, demonstration and individual attention, this course will benefit beginning and more advanced painters. Beginners will learn an entry-level and approach to the wonderful and challenging world of oil painting. More advanced painters will enhance and refine their skills as they are introduced to additional methods for painting still-life compositions that are appealing and compelling.
