This exhibit will be at the AHCNA from August 23 through September 16, 2021.

The AHCNA is pleased to display – Hamburg: SC’s Forgotten Town Exhibit. This exhibit focuses on the history of Hamburg. The exhibit will be on display through August 2021.

The Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta in partnership with Jessye Norman School of the Arts will be having a summer art camp program. Classes will be taught by instructors from Jessyne Norman School of the Arts and class size will be limited to 10 students. The classes will be held at the AHCNA. The fee for the week long Art Camp is $75.
The classes will be held in the Morning for Students ages 6 – 9 and in the Afternoon for Students ages 10 – 13.
Art Camp will be held the weeks of:
-June 21 – 25
-June 28 – July 2
-July 12 – 16.
The same thing is taught each week for a different group of students.
Morning Classes:
Ages 6-9
Monday-Friday from 10am-12:30pm
Drop Off: 9:45am
Pick Up: 12:30pm
Afternoon Classes:
Ages 10-13
Monday-Friday from 1:30pm-4pm
Drop Off: 1:15pm
Pick Up: 4pm
The Theme for the Art Camp is Folk Art. Students will be creating a family tree and a memory quilt. They will also be participating in additional games and art activities.
All materials will be provided as well as name tags and lanyards. Snacks will be provided, however students should bring a water bottle. Masks are recommended and hand sanitizer will be provided.
A Reception will be held on Thursday, July 15 from 5 – 7 pm to display the students artwork. T-shirts will be given out to the students at the reception.
Fee must be paid at the time of registration. Please visit the AHCNA to pay fee and submit your child’s registration.
