Whether you’re a seasoned potter or new to ceramics, this workshop will significantly enhance your technical skills and broaden your creative horizons with slab building. Far from a simple alternative, slab building offers unparalleled precision and versatility, allowing for distinct forms and sharp lines often challenging to achieve on the wheel.

In this intensive course, students will transform flat clay into sophisticated, functional tableware. The class will master essential slab construction techniques, learn clever tricks, and precise assembly methods, and utilizing simple molds to create a harmonious bowl and cup set.

Students will gain hands-on proficiency with professional equipment, including slab rollers, and master crucial techniques like slump molding, precise cylinder construction, and secure handle attachment.
