Le Chat Noir is doing a theatre camp!Ages: 8-12 (20 spots) & 13-16 (20 spots)
Puppetry track (Ben Snead)- Students will be introduced to various styles of puppetry: shadow puppetry, rod puppetry, hand puppetry, and Bunraku; and will learn to build, manipulate, and perform with puppets.Stagecraft (Krys Bailey)- Students will experience a broad range of technical theatre and performance art. Technical theatre lessons include basic stagecraft & special effects like air powered rigs, injury make-up, the crankie, goo (green goo for younger students, blood effects for older students) Performance art lessons will cover basics of improv, mask work, stage combat.
