The Mary S. Byrd Gallery of Art at Augusta University is proud to launch the 2025–26 academic year with the semi-annual Faculty and Staff Exhibition, celebrating the creativity, scholarship, and dedication of the Department of Art and Design. The exhibition will be on view August 20 – October 3, 2025, with a public reception on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 5–7 p.m.
This year’s show brings together familiar and new voices, offering a vibrant mix of styles, mediums, and ideas. Visitors will experience the diverse talents of AB Osborne, AnnaBrooke Greene, Brian McGrath, Brian Rust, Carol Cross, Chadwick Tolley, Clarissa Gainey, Cynthia Epps, Henrique Nardi de Azevedo, Jacob Lehmann, John Lause, Katie Kameen, Matthew Buzzell, Namwon Choi, Randy Pace, Raoul Pacheco, Scott Thorp, and Yana Bondar.
Featuring engaging sculptures, paintings, prints, and video projects, the exhibition highlights the breadth of expertise within the department. These faculty members are nationally recognized artists whose work has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the country and around the world. Their creative practices not only enrich their teaching but also contribute to the cultural vitality of Augusta and beyond.
