The Mary S. Byrd Gallery of Art presents A Slow and Gradual Change, a solo exhibition by painter Joseph Kameen. His work explores quiet, everyday moments where routine and self-awareness overlap, revealing the ambiguity and intimacy of lived experience. Kameen, associate professor of art at USC Aiken, holds an MFA from Indiana University and has exhibited nationally and internationally in New York, London, Berlin, and Greece.
