Poison Peach Film Festival showcases local independent film. This year’s screenings will be a Saturday evening and Sunday matinee. Tickets are $10 plus a $3 restoration fee for the Imperial.
7-8pm – Short Film Block #1, featuring the work of Augusta-area filmmakers Nick Laws, Adam Cowarth, and Kenneth Perkins, among others
8pm – World Premiere of the feature film WITCH WAY WITCHERY, directed by Sherman Gills and filmed at Eastwind Castle, barely 20 miles from the Imperial Theatre. WITCH WAY WITCHERY features the talents of Michelle Brown Houston, Veronica Cooper, Jezibell Anat, Joseph Zuchowski, Donna Gills, Eric Poe, Alyssa Amelia, Corbin Rivers, Charles Roesner, Christine Williams, Stephan Jensen, Tom Ryan, Joanne Greene and Kat Taran
9:30pm – Short Film Block #2 featuring the work of Augusta-area filmmakers Jezibell Anat, Christine Williams, and Joseph Zuchowski among others.

2pm – World Premiere of SUBMERGED: The Hunley
This film follows the crew and technology of the first submarine in history to sink an enemy vessel.
4pm – World Premiere of SHERMAN’S MARCH TO THE SEA
A sprawling epic about a massive, heartbreaking event that changed the way modern warfare was fought forever.
The films on Sunday’s program are produced and directed by Augusta native Christopher Forbes. “Submerged” is an ITN Film. The Executive Producer of “Sherman’s March to the Sea” is Walter Czura.
