This course is for students who want to weld steel that is 1/8 inch thick and up. At their own workstation, the students will learn M.I.G. Welding, Torch Brazing and Plasma cutting. M.I.G. welding is easier to learn and is the most commonly used type of welding today. These skills can be used to create anything from Garden Art to building a utility trailer. Each class will include theory, demonstration, and individual hands-on instruction. All basic supplies, including the M.I.G. Welders Manual by Roger Finch and the Victor Welding Guide are included in the materials fee and supplied on Class #1. No pre-requisite is required for this class. A personal safety equipment list will be provided upon registration. *New and Continuing Students Welcomed.
