JNSA presents ‘The Blood is at the Doorstep’ (FILM)

In partnership with the Westobou Gallery, the Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Films, and the National Endowment of the Arts, JNSA is proud to present The Blood is at the Doorstep. This film follows the case of Dontre Brown, a disabled man killed by police in Milwaukee.

After Dontre Hamilton was shot 14 times and killed by police in Milwaukee, his family embarks on a quest for answers, justice and reform.

The film will be screened at 7:30 PM on February 8th, and will be followed by a Q&A with Nathaniel and Maria Hamilton, respectively the brother and mother of the late Dontre Hamilton.

The film will be preceded by a teen mixer for Safehomes of Augusta, and the Art of Peace show with Americorps Vista, the Robby Poblete Foundation, and Future Successors.
