The Holiday season is here, and Historic Augusta invites you to experience Christmas in 1918! Visit the Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson through the month of December, and enjoy the house decorated for the holidays with fresh evergreens and festive decorations. December tours will incorporate details about what Christmas was like in 1918, at the end of World War I.
General holiday tours of the Wilson House, at the regular admission price of $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $3 for students, are offered Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout the month of December. Tours are guided and begin on the hour from 10-4 pm.
Dates: Dec 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29.

Candlelight Tours: Experience Christmas in 1918 and enjoy festive refreshments and live music as you tour the Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson with the lights turned down low and the candles flickering. Guides will provide stories of holidays past in Augusta and discuss what Christmas was like at the end of World War I.

Times: 5 PM – 7 PM, with tours offered every 30 minutes.

Celebrate President Wilson’s Birthday with BOGO admission: The Wilson House will also be open for tours on Friday, December 28, 2018 in honor of the 28th President’s 162nd Birthday. Tours will be given on the hour between 10 AM and 4 PM. Admission on President Wilson’s birthday will be buy-one, get-one of equal or lesser value free. Prior to the guided tour of his Civil War era home, children will have the opportunity to color a birthday card for our 28th President, and see “A Boy Never Gets Over His Boyhood,” a video about Wilson’s life.
