Historic Augusta’s Cotton Ball 2019
May 16 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm$50 – $85
Thursday, May 16th, 2019 | 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM | Salubrity Hall, 2259 Cumming Road
Historic Augusta’s #CottonBall2019, a tradition in Augusta since 1988, will be held this year on Thursday, May 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The casual affair will take place in the gardens surrounding Salubrity Hall, the home of Christine and Frank Anderson, located at 2259 Cumming Road in Summerville. The Anderson’s Tudor style home was built in 1928 by the Herbert Family, who spent their winters in Augusta, with windows, fireplaces, arched doorways, thick wood doors, and a tiled fountain all brought over from a sixteenth-century house in England.
Join us for dinner provided by Bonefish, music performed by Monet Robinson, a cash bar featuring our famous mint juleps, and an opportunity to mingle in a historic setting. A dessert bar will also feature local sweets from BK Cakes, Dippin’ Dots, Riveroak Bakehouse, Vance’s Bakery Bar, and more!
Proceeds benefit the projects and programs of Historic Augusta, Inc. For more information, call Historic Augusta at (706) 724-0436 or visit historicaugusta.org.
Admission to the Cotton Ball is by current, new, or renewing membership in Historic Augusta, Inc., which is open to all who are interested in preserving our city’s historic places. Memberships start at just $50 for individuals and $85 for couples.
