Tuesday’s Music Live presents Ensemble Aubade (Peter H. Bloom, flute; Francis Grimes, viola; and Steven Sussman, piano).

The group will perform two contrasting chamber works:  Pièce de Clavecin en Concert No. 5 (1741) by Jean-Philippe Rameau, a leading composer in 18th century France, and Seven Postcards to Old Friends (1966), a seldom-heard suite by Robert Russell Bennett, the famous Broadway arranger who orchestrated hits like Show Boat, Oklahoma, The King and I, The Sound of Music, Kiss Me Kate, and many more.

Ensemble Aubade is based in Boston and performs across the United States.  The November 16 concert is part of the group’s week-long tour in Georgia and South Carolina.
