Watercolor Portraits From Photos 3 Day Workshop

This intensive workshop will go over all the essentials of rendering a watercolor portrait. The first Saturday will be spent understanding and studying the particular construction and differences in individual faces as the students follow the instructor’s step-by-step instructions. Each feature will be demonstrated and painted, along with some color theory and paint mixing, as students all work from the same portrait resource photo from start to finish. Students will also consider the best tactics on deciding upon and drawing out their photographic choices for the following Saturday and Sunday, when they will be painting their own personal images. Ages 16 and up! Bring a sack lunch for the Saturday sessions.
