Understanding the Figure

Join Westobou’s Artist-in-Residence Devin Lovett for five classes to explore the figure and understand how it interacts with space through drawing and painting. In this session students will learn how to: sketch the figure, identify and establish proportions, develop skin tones, and learn how to harness impressionistic techniques to improve their own respective art style. This class will allow students the freedom to understand how they would like to represent their subject while developing a good foundation in figurative art. Students will work from a model the last two classes.
