The Subversive Thread showcases four artists who challenge the conventional boundaries of fiber and thread art. Han Cao, Jennifer McBrien, Michael-Birch Pierce, and Stacey Lee Webber transcend these limitations by employing unconventional textiles and techniques, thereby redefining the medium conceptually and aesthetically.
Join us on First Friday, June 7 for a talk by our 2024 Guest Curator, Jennifer Chrzanowski followed by a reception from 6-8 p.m.
