The Abstracted Self: Creating Abstracted Autobiographical Works

Students will explore different ways to create abstracted autobiographical works from old drawings, sketches, and photographs while experimenting with a variety of mixed media. Examples of professional artists from the past and present who currently work and have worked in this manner will be discussed during each class.
