The 1970 Augusta Riot Exhibit

The exhibit combines research and personal testimonies to tell the story of the 1970 Augusta Riot from the perspective of the community and from revisiting evidence. Included in the exhibit are historic photos, biographies of eye witnesses and victims families, and original art with created from oral history interviews.
The grand opening will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony and special program at 3pm follow by guided tours at the following times:

5:20 – 6:35p
6:15 – 7:30p
