Smithsonian Affiliates Lecture: Richard Kurin

The Smithsonian’s distinguished scholar and ambassador-at-large Richard Kurin served as the director of the Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage and founded the Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative, which works to save cultural heritage endangered by natural disasters and human conflict. He will discuss his book The Smithsonian’s History of America in 101 Objects.
