Learn the pleasures of painting outdoors from Frank Carstarphen, an experienced Plein Air painter. Learn how it is different from other types of painting. Develop a basic understanding of landscape painting and a way to see the big picture by using the theory of angles while developing an eye for seeing the large masses in the landscape as a way to get started. Any level of experience welcome but must have some painting experience.
Demonstration will be given during the first class held on the grounds of Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art and other locations will be announced.
