Keeping the Dream Alive: Why Dr. King’s Message Still Matters

February 15, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Wednesday, February 15th || 7 – 9 p.m. || Sacred Hearts Cultural Center

Dr. Glaude is the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor and Chair of the Department of African American Studies at Princeton. He is a
graduate of Morehouse College and serves on its Board of Trustees. He is a columnist for TIME Magazine. He is a regular commentator on programs like
Morning Joe and Deadline Whitehouse with Nicolle Wallace, and Meet the Press. Combining a scholar’s knowledge of history, a political commentator’s take on the latest events, and an activist’s passion for social justice, Glaude challenges all of us to examine our collective American conscience, “not to posit the
greatness of America, but to establish the ground upon which to imagine the country anew.”
