From This Mad Passion- The title of this show is taken from Michelangelo’s description of his own maniacal devotion to his art. I don’t consider myself his equal, but I relate to art being an obsessive passion. Drawing has become my love affair. This exhibition features drawings and mixed media works that I have created over the last 12 to 18 months. I hope people can feel their minds or hearts being moved by how simple lines can come together to form something beautiful or thought-provoking. – Sarah Scarborough Swanson
