Batik is an ancient form of textile design from Indonesia. Made with hot beeswax and dye on fabric. This new method eliminates the need for hot wax and allows the artist to create bright colors on fabric just the same. Participants will create their own textile design on fabric, then sew and stuff their own pillows to create a one of kind artwork for their own room.
Ages 7-10
Class duration: 2 Saturdays.
