Earth Day Celebration 2023

The Earth Day Augusta Committee is hosting an Earth Day Celebration in keeping with the worldwide Earth Day movement (www.earthday.org) to promote sustainable living. This annual free community event is hosted by Phinizy Swamp Nature Park from 10 am to 3 pm and offers family activities, entertainment, green business vendors, sales of local re-purposed arts & crafts, and food vendors.

Local artists Brian Rust, Vivian Hornsby, and Stephanie “HAM” Willingham will be finishing the creation of a site-specific sculpture created from natural materials gathered from around Phinizy.  Come help them put the finishing touches on the sculpture!
