As part of Paine College’s Evelyn G. Etheridge Conference on the Harlem Renaissance, the Morris Museum and Paine College present the screening of Oscar Micheaux: The Czar of Black Hollywood, a film by Bayer Mack. Micheaux, America’s preeminent black filmmaker for three decades, directed or produced twenty-two silent movies and fifteen talking pictures.
