Basic “Fail Proof” Watercolor

This fun, but highly structured class is geared toward brand-new students desiring to learn how to use watercolor. With its layered approach, any myths regarding the medium’s “unforgiving” properties will be dispelled. You’ll learn about the materials, various techniques, different methods of mixing and applying color, brush strokes, plus many “tricks and fixes” to bring watercolor painting under your control. Discussions, step by step instructions, demonstrations, and optional weekly assignments by an experienced, award-winning instructor are a large part of this course. After the initial class, each week you’ll be taking home a finished painting and a lot more confidence! Ages 16 and up!
