As Others See Us / As We See Ourselves: Artists’ Portraits and Self-Portraits from the Permanent Collection

January 20th – June 30th || 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. || The Morris Museum of Art 

The work in this exhibition represents a wide range of subjects, styles, and eras—everything from the Renaissance-influenced work of renowned Atlanta folk artist Lorenzo Scott to the academically trained Elliott Daingerfield, from the early modernist Josephine Crawford to artists—Bobbi Adams, Beverly Buchanan, Philip Morsberger, and others—of the more recent past. Recently acquired paintings by much-admired contemporary artists and teachers Raoul Middleman and Joe Shannon round out this selection.
