A native southerner, Rebecca Wood, has been making things her whole life. She enjoyed a successful career in painting, and then branched out into designing and painting jewelry, fabric, furniture, and even hats! She also learned China painting, which led to making plates with red clay, which led to big orders from high-end New York boutiques, and in 1991 R. Wood Studio was born.
