Sacred Heart Beautification Project

Saturday, October 7th || 9 – 11 a.m. || Sacred Heart Cultural Center 

This Saturday, October 7, is City Serve sponsored by the Marshall’s Office. One of three beautification projects selected for this event is the refreshing of the city-owned parking lot directly across from Sacred Heart on Greene St. While the City owns the lot, Sacred Heart guests are the primary users during weddings and other large events. The City has a long-term plan to improve the lot with much-improved lighting and new sidewalks. This is the first step toward improving the look of it and we appreciate the effort tremendously. The project will begin at 9:00 am. We will be spreading mulch, planting some flowers and trimming shrubs. Volunteers are asked to wear gloves and work clothes, bring pruners or shears, small and large shovels and wheelbarrows or 5-gallon buckets to move mulch. Water will be provided.
