On Saturday, May 18, 2024, The Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History will host its 8th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. This year’s tournament will honor the 60th Anniversary of the four Black golfers who desegregated the Augusta Municipal Golf Course (The Patch) in 1964: John Elam, Clois Herndon, Raymond Jenkins and Dr. Harry Thompson. We invite you to participate as a golfer or sponsor for this exciting event.
The tournament format will be a four-person best ball (Captain Choice) at the Augusta Municipal Golf Course. The Early Bird entry fee is $90 per golfer from February 5, 2024-May 12, 2024. Day of tournament fee is $100.
