The Aiken Concert Band is presenting a program of music celebrating “Classics” of the concert band repertoire. The band will present a varied program of music celebrating the legacy of wind band music, including classic film scores from the Walt Disney Studio and John Williams, along with music by Leroy Anderson and Ralph Vaughan Williams. The program will also feature an arrangement of the classic “MacArthur Park”, and Claude T. Smith’s landmark “Emperata Overture.” Come experience some of the most important and beloved band music of the last 100 years with the Aiken Concert Band. The Aiken Concert Band is a nonprofit 501c3 Community band with over 80 dedicated local volunteer musicians. We are a proud member of the Association of Concert Bands.
