The Augusta University Library Comic Jam is in honour of the father of graphic novels, Will Eisner. It falls on his memorial week, the first of March. Come and celebrate sequential art by making your own comic in just 24 hours!
This event is open to the public (must be at least 18 years old), free to enter, food and drinks will be provided, and plenty of prizes to be won!
Where is the jam?
The Comic Jam will begin in the Reese Library, Instruction Room. Upon entering the library, look just to the right of the front desk.

When does it start/end?
The Comic Jam begins officially at 12 PM, Saturday March 7th 2026, where the theme, rules, categories and awards will be announced.
It’s okay if you’re late to kick off HOWEVER, no additional time till be granted to late entries.
Doors will be open one hour early! Feel free to come by, ask some early questions, form groups, and register for the event!
Submission Deadline
At 2 PM, Sunday March 8th 2026, all participating comics must be submitted. No late entries will be accepted.

Award Ceremony & Wrap Up
At 3 PM, Sunday March 8th 2026, the wrap up and award ceremony will take place in (Location: Reese Library, Room 141).
