Frank Carstarphen

Frank Carstarphen studied Advertising Art at Augusta Tech. There he was introduced to rendering in watercolor. He studied oil and watercolor painting under the late J. Gray of Modoc, South Carolina. As an artist from Augusta, GA enjoys painting scenes from his hometown. Painting in both watercolor and oil, he captures a sense of time and place. His familiarity and fondness of Augusta is reflected in his work.

June Klement

June Klement translates her emotional responses to urban and natural environments into oil paint. Her impressionistic style, known for its vibrant and bold brushstrokes, captures the fleeting nature of color and light. She enjoys both studio painting and en plein air, with the latter allowing her to convey the ever-changing nuances of outdoor light and feeling. After a career and raising a family, Klement returned to painting to express beauty and love. An award-winning artist, Klement has exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States, and her work is celebrated for its brilliant palette and depiction of light.

Michael Meissner

Michael’s art beckons viewers into a world of vivid colors, evocative textures, and captivating scenes. With over five decades of artistic experience, his work stands as a testament to the transformative power of art and the enduring legacy of a lifelong commitment to creative expression. As a traditional artist, the allure of oil paintings was ever-present, and in the early 2000s, he shifted his focus to oils, particularly exploring water-related images, and landscapes. Michael is an award-winning painter at nationwide art festivals from the southeast to the northwest.

A portion of all sales support the ongoing preservation of the historic Sacred Heart Cultural Center.
