Learn to draw in charcoal on canvas.  Paint this drawing either preserving the details or to use as a base layer. This can be done in any medium (oils, acrylic, water soluble pencils).

Items needed:

canvas – not too rough || charcoal pencils and sticks || eraser || REWORKABLE fixative (Must be reworkable) || paints || brushes

If using oils – Alkyd medium, linseed oil, cold wax (optional, but recommended – orange oil, castile soap to use as non toxic cleaners)

If using acrylics – retarder recommended
