Conserving History
Painting conservator Craig Crawford shares stories from his conservation practice including recent work done on Marie Barrett Barbot’s 1928 painting Delivery of Georgia Railroad and Banking Company Locomotive in 1842. Members, $12; nonmembers, $16. Catered lunch included. Paid reservations due April 18.

William Dunlap and Short Mean Fiction
Celebrated visual artist Bill Dunlap reads from and discusses his first collection of short stories. As he says, these stories are mean and rife with sex and violence. They are accompanied by drawings that are not illustrations but that appear in the sketchbooks where he first set down these stories. Members, $12; nonmembers, $16. Catered lunch included. Paid reservations due May 9.
