The James Brown Family Foundation Presents ‘2018 J.A.M.P Summer Session’

July 3 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 9:00am, repeating until July 13, 2018

Students will have the option to choose which instrument they are interested in and they will learn basic notes and melodies. There is a “JampCert” at the end of the program to highlight the students accomplishments. It’s also free to the public.  Limited scholarships are offered to families on a low financial budget, first come first serve.

Give your child an opportunity to explore his/her hidden talents, learn and have fun! Sign them up for Jamp’s summer session.

Please visit www.jamesbrownfamilyfdn.org and select the JAMP page. Select JAMP Downloads. All the information and application are listed under there.

The Annual JAMPcert is scheduled for 7/13/18. This is a free concert at the museum for the family and friends of the students and open to the public for them to come and see what the students have learned during the program. They invite the media and usually have an artist come and do a workshop with the students and the artists stay for their performance. Last year they had GRAMMY Nominated R&B singer Shanice as their guest. One of our students performed her hit song “I Love Your Smile.”
Students are measured and fitted for a tuxedo to wear for the performance which is donated to JAMP by International Formal Wear.
